The Coordinating Committee for History in Arizona is a 501 (c)(3) organization founded in 1983 that provides professional services to Arizona's historical community. Through workshops, conferences, and outreach activities, CCHA promotes a greater awareness and appreciation of history in Arizona.
CCHA fosters communication among historians and persons in related professions, promotes history to the community at large, advocates the protection and use of historical resources, advances the teaching of history in schools, and supports career development for those working in the field of history in Arizona.
